The site of this Chapel and Hospital are not well Known all remains of them have been so long since removed, Mr. Marshall is of opinion that the Chapel stood on the east side of St Ann's Lane, but on an old plan of the City dated 1765, its place or site is shewn on the west side of the lane. It is also marKed in the same situation on a plan dated 1792 while on a plan dated 1774 its site is marKed about 65 linKs east side off the lane and a few years ago when the foundations for a house was dug here large quantities of human bones were dug up but whether it belonged to St Johns Ch [Church] burial ground is not well known [continued on next page]
