It is situated in Strath Earn and is bounded on the north, north west, and west, by the parishes of Methven, Fowlis Wester, & Crieff; and on the south, south east, and east, by the parishes of Monzie (Detached No.1), Trinity Gask, and Findo Gask. The parish of Madderty contains about 4863 Statute Acres. The surface is level, carpeted with good soil, wholly arable, and well enclosed and cultivated. There are no detached portions of this parish, nor are there any detached portions of any other parish situated within it. |
