124 It is the prevailing opinion in the neighbourhood that a Castle Stood at this place, but there are no vestiges of the foundation or any tradition in the Ph [Parish] connected with it. The house at the Craigton, the only one now standing of a number once there, must have been built of the stones, Some of which are chiseled in a superior manner, and are not generally met with in Cottar houses.
