This name applies to a Stream which is formed by the influx of Several drains &c a little North of Wellfield farm Ho. [House] from whence it flows northward until it empties itself into the River Earn, near Carey farm Ho. [House] There are sloping Banks each side of this stream & as it may almost be termed a main sewer for the other drains & streams that empty themselves into it it is not inappropriately termed the "Stank"
