A middling sized heathy hill on the farm of Hairstanes lying betwixt Glenriskie and Moat Burns. There is a considerable plantation on its north side and the remains of a supposed Roman Camp. The property of the Earl of Wemyss.

The remains of a circular wall now land with the Surface about it supposed to have been a Roman Camp but there is evidence to justify the supposition in the locality. It is west of Glenriskie on the farm of Hairstanes and on the property of the Earl of Wemyss.
