It is closely planted with fir trees on all its Sides, and on the Summit there is a circular shaped bank, a few inches in height, Supposed by some persons to be the remains of a Camp, nothing however can be ascertained from Old residenters in locality, to satisfactorily confirm this belief. The name of this eminence is said to be from the farmers name Kerr. |
