[County] of Edinburgh) The Peebles Railway passes this place, and a coach runs daily, conveying passengers from the Railway Station, to Broughton, Linton etc. The house are all in good repair and have gardens attached. The Peebles side belongs to Forbes McKenzie Esq of Portmore, the other side to Sir George Clerk Bart. [Baronet]
