Their southern boundary extends from near Colinton, crossing the North Esk, a little above Carlops, along the southern bases of Carlops Hill and Mount Maw, crossing the Lyne Water a little above Stonypath farm house; along the soouthern base of Little King Seat, crossing the West Water a little above North Slipperfield; then extending along the southern bases of the Mount, and Northmuir Hill, till it crosses the Medwyn Water a little above Ferniehaugh farm house; where it enters the county of Lanark, and continues on to Easton. |
