014 | [Situation] Adjoining Lee. The ruins of this tower or fort is situated at the South-west Corner of the buildings of Lee: and is associated in the district with no traditionary interest. It is Square in form & two storeys high, having several loop-holes in its sides. It is used for a farm office & since the dismantelment, has been roofed a few feet lower than its original height - the roof has now fallen in partly, & in winter it is used for a Cattle Shelter. |
