Mr Gray, Postmaster Eddleston		 006 ; 009 ; 013 [Situation] Running through the Central portion of the parish of Eddleston from North to South.
A large stream which has its source in the land of Kingside in the north and of the parish of Eddleston and running in a Southerly direction through the above parish and that of Peebles at length runs into the River Tweed at the town Peebles driving its course through the above point it receives many smaller streams which increases its size toward its influx with the Tweed to considerable extent.
