016 | [Situation] About 1/8 of a Mile N.W [North West] from Wester Dalwick This is the Remains of an old Hill Fort or Rings Situated on the Farm of Wester Dalwick. It appears to have been formed of two Ramparts the Remains of which still exist there was also probably an outer Circle which, if so, has been removed. It was most likely one of those erections for defending property. There are no Traditions extant respecting it. |
