This is the site of the old Chu[Church] of Glenholm; the only remains no [now] Visible being the foundation of the building which is about two feet above the surface. It is surround [surrounded] by a Graveyard, still used; was destroyed at the Union of the Parishes about 1802; and t [the] Church furniture removed to Megget. It is not Kn [Known] whether it was dedicated to St. Cuthbert or not; there is not [nothing] about it in the Parish records; but from the Published accounts it appears to have been built on the site of the origl. [original] Church, St. Cuthberts
