of two males and one female,) two at one end & one at the other, in a crouching posture, the two facing towards the west and the other to the east, - facing on another, besides the skeletons there was a quantity of broken or burnt bones and ashes found in the cist, No particular period is assigned for this object, but it is believed to be of great antiquity, The good state of preservation in which the skeletons were found is ascribed to the closeness of the Cist and the dryness of the soil in which it was deposited,
