106 An antiquity in the form of a mound of earth and stones covered with grass about 8 feet above the surface of the ground and about 250 feet the circumference at the base. There has been no remains of which there is any record found in it neither is there any tradition relative to its origin but judging from appearance it is of similar nature to others so numerous throughout the Country.This object is generally supposed to be an ancient burial mound or tumulus.
