094 The object refered to was accidentally discovered whilst cultivating the ground, a skeleton was found in a sitting posture, and at the right hand lay a finely polished mallet of gneiss, which is still preserved in the museum at Stromness Its situation is 8 chains south East in a arable field from the farm house of Dounby and 1/4 mile East of Newhouse the property of Magnus Smith proprietor & occupier of the ground,
