100 Supposed remains of an ancient Brough situated on the shore of the "Loch of Hannay" about 1/2 mile N E. of Doehouse and 1/2 North of Laith internally it consists of large stones some of which are arranged in a manner such as to indicate that formally it must have been a place of habitation but a quantity of the stones has been 'removed, on the west side it appears to have been surrounded by a ditch at one time, no remains have been discovered here. nether is there any tradition respecting it. Remains of what is supposed to have been a ditch still remain in the form of a bank on the west side of the Brough,
