100 A conspicuous mound of Stones, Rubbish, and grass: which is generally Supposed to have been a pictish Stronghold: On the east Side the Stones & rubbish has been removed, leaving in view part of a circular building about 40 feet in diameter, which appears to be similar in construction to the many other pictish Strongholds in Orkney & Shetland It is Situated on the W. coast of Sandwick, and immediately South of a Creek Called "Hell Mouth". also on the N.E. side of "Noust of Borwick". Upon the property of Mrs. Watt of Breckness.
