Sutherland, Farmer, Sandside. | 112 | A good substantial stone and slate building erected in A.D. 1867 when the Old Church (which was erected in A.D. 1780) was disused. It contains about 300 sittings: The parish is in the presbytery of Cairston and Synod of Orkney. This Church although connected with the Hoy parish Church for Ministerial convenience has the same legal rights as the latter. The Hoy parish Minister preaches in the Graemsay parish Church every third Sunday It is situated on the south coast of Graemsay and about 1/4 mile S.E. of Dean. |
