[South East] of Beboran a stone cist was discovered in 1848 The cist consisted of four rough flags placed in a manner so as to form a neatly constructed cist, the length measuring about 2½ ft [feet] in breadth 18 inches and depth about 2 ft. [feet] and was equal in appearance to these found about 5 chains to the north of it,
