101 Mr Magnus Flett of Nistaben while improving a piece of rough land came upon a cist containing ashes It consisted simply of four slabs of rough unpolished stone placed in a manner forming a neatly constructed cist a few chains to the west stands four other tumuli and it appears that the cist was buried in the centre of a tumulus & it is about ¼ mile S [South] of Nistaben
