123 A stone about 3 feet high supposed to be an antiquity but no information can be obtained concerning it situated on the island of Switha 1/8 of a mile east of Point of Pool and about the same distance north west of "The Kiln".

123 An uninhabited pastoral island in the Pentland Firth bounded on the west by Cantic Sound on the north by Switha Sound and on the south and east by the Pentland firth. It lies from a south west to a north easterly direction is about 3/4 of a mile in length and about 3/8 of a mile wide. Situated in the parish of Walls & Flotta about one mile north east of Cantic head and about 1 1/4 mile south of the Church of Flotta on the north east side of the island is a large circular cairn of stones which looks very much like the "Green Hills" [underlined] in the "South Walls" [underlined] district. No information can be obtained regarding it.
