119 Situated on a piece of rough ground, on the coast, and a short distance S.E. of Kirkataing. There is no tradition respecting this - the oldest inhabitants can tell no more than that they have always heard it spoken of as having been a place of worship anterior to the Reformation.

119 A stone cist containing human remains, was found at a spot about four chains N.E. of the site of the Chapel. There are two cairns in this neighbourhood but they are not antiquities.
