101 This is a small islet near the southern end of the Loch of Wasdale where it is said a Chapel stood at one time. No remains of it is to be seen at the present time except some embedded stones, which would lead to the supposition that an ancient building of some kind stood here at one time A few years ago James Firth of Wasdale dug up at this place some ashes & burnt bones
