086 This name applies to an Island, situated about 3 miles south-west from the north end of the Island of Eday and about midway between Westray and Eday. the Island is divided into eight small farms. there is a Public School, and burying ground, there is the site of an ancient Chapel in the south-east corner of the burying ground, and the site of a brough on the north end of the Island. It is the property of the late Mr Stewart, it has been left to the Church of Scotland.
