094 A small knoll situated fully ¼ mile south of the ''Knowe of Dale,'' and about ¼ mile north of ''Holland'' this knoll is said to be the remains of an ancient burial mound and resemble numerous others receiving the same name throughout the country. A quantity of stones have been taken from this object for building purposes. In its N [North] side are 7 slabs on edge at intervals of about 2 feet, probably remains of stone Cysts.
