094 The remains of an ancient chapel situated on the coast about ½ mile north of Howe and ½ mile south of Gruidgair and close to high water mark there is no tradition wether can any information be gleaned respecting its origin but that it is an antiquity of a very early date is a well Known fact, It is generally believed to belong to a period prior to the reformation, There is also a disused burial ground surrounding it which is considered to be coeval with the chapel
