001 The parish church situated on the left bank of the river at the south east corner of the town. It is a plane stone edifice, surrounded by an extensive graveyard in which are many elegant tombs, & is seated to accommodate 900 persons. Property of the Heritors of the parish who keep it in excellent repair.

001 This is the drill hall & armoury of the Nairn Artillery Volunteers. It is a commodious building of two storeys high, tho [though] upper is used as the hall & and the lower storey as a dwelling house. It is in indifferent repair & the private property of Lieutenant Colonel Finlay, Commandant of the Nairn Volunteers.
