001 A commodious stone building erected as a school by the Free Church body in connection with their Church, to which it is contiguous. The average attendance of scholars is about 109 throughout the year, to whom the usual branches of education are taught. It is under Government inspection & £64 was received from Government last year, to teacher's certificate, pupil teachers etc. It is not endowed in any way the school fees going to make up the teacher's income.

001 A narrow street branching off High Street at the south end of the Town & County Buildings & extending to King Street in a westerly direction with the exception of the Free Church & School, from which the name is derived, no other buildings are erected on it - principally the property of the Free Church Lodge of Presbyterians of Nairn.
