001 This is an unimportant breakwater, built of stone one the west side of the Harbour to prevent the water of the River Nairn, at low water, from spreading at that point. It is about four feet in height, about the same in breadth, & about six chains in length, & is entirely covered at high water. Property of the Burgh.
