002 | This Railway has direct communication, by a single line of rails, between Bonar Bridge and the City of Perth; and from Inverness to Keith. Its route lies through the heart of the Highlands and presents to tourists and others, travelling in search of the picturesque, opportunities for viewing the magnificent scenery through which the line passes, which for cheapness and convenience are unattainable in any other part of Scotland abounding in scenery of a similar nature. Electric Telegraphic communication exists throughout the whole length of the line which is the property of the Highland Railway Company whose head office is at Inverness. |
