There is a scored out entry for Newlands of Fleenas with the statement "Cancelled see p49" and illegible initials. The scored out Description is as follows:- "This name is applied to three small farmsteadings occupied Respectively by John Rose, George McArthur & James McIntosh the house occupied by John Rose is a one storey thatched house with suitable office houses attached that occupied by George McArthur is a one storey thatched house with office houses partly slated and partly thatched it is situated about a Quarter of a Mile to the south of the house occupied by John Rose to which the name is written. The house occupied by James McIntosh is situated on the south side of the leading road from Belivat to Cawdor near the farmsteading of Rehaurie it is a very small thatched house with one small wooden office house They are all the Property of the Earl of Cawdor
