008.11 | This name applies to the remains of a Stone Circle Situated about one fourth mile to the northeast of Innes mill farmsteading, there are six stones of the circle remaining, and standing in an upright position, the average height of these stones is about four feet, their breadth three feet, and thickness about two feet. They are generally known in the district, as the nine stones of Urquhart, but when the ground above where they stand was cultivated, some of them were removed, consequentlythere are only six remaining, they are on the property of the Earl of Fife.
