proprietor on the removal of the wall, forbid the tenant tilling this piece of Ground but - no idea can be found as to what denomination this place belonged.) There can be little doubt that this place Was a holding of Some religious Sect as the present dwelling house is Said to be erected on the Site of the Clergyman's residence, which is Known as Bishops Croft and
Sometimes Called the priest's Croft.
