012.09 This name is applied to a private Bridge situated adjacent to Pluscarden Abbey nothing appears to be known how the name originated, the County road leading from Elgin to Dallas crossed over this Bridge at one time but its course has been alterd several years since, this Bridge spans the Black Burn at this point.
