001.15 | This name applies to the Quoad Sacra Church in connection with the Parish of Duffus, and situated in the village of Burghead, the building is of rectangular form, slated, and in good repair. It was errected in A.D. 1822 and supported partly by the seat rents and partly by the Society for propogating Christian Knowledge and the Committee for managing the Royal Bounty, but it was made a Quoad Sacra Church in 1867. The number of Sittings is 720 and it is the property of the Presbytery of Elgin |
