017.02 This site is situated on a small mound which was once a graveyard close to the School in the district of Kellas And on the east side of the County Road. The form of a small building can yet be traced on the ground, but there is no traditionary evidence in the district respecting the chapel, and the Statistical Account merely mentions " the site of an old Roman Catholic Chapel".

017.02 An upright stone about three and a half feet in height situated in the old burying ground near the School at Kellas. "There is also a large oblong Stone at the east end of the parish which stands on the site of an old Roman Catholic Chapel and burying ground".
