[Situation] On the north Side of George Street A large and handsome edifice of a circular form and surmounted by a handsome spire 168 feet in height. A portico supported by four Grecian pillars forms the entrance. The steeple is furnished with a chime of 8 bells. This church was erected in 1785 and is seated for about 1000 persons including minister's seat, band seat, &, Elders' seats. It is a double charge or has two ministers. |
