A large & handsome edifice situated on the eastern side of St. Andrews square now occupied by the Royal BanK but originally built for the residence of Sir Lawrence Dundas after the [---] of an admired villa near Rome [it] was subsequently purchased from [the] Proprietor together with a small [piece] of ground for the sume of £33000. [The] banK was established by charter [in] the year 1727. It is managed by Governor, Deputy Governor, Directors and Extraordinary Directors,
