A large and handsome built Bridge crossing the water of Leith on the Queensferry road, It was erected by a few spirited individuals for the purpose of connecting this part of the city with the Dean property, which is to be laid out as a town of villas, The bridge consists of 4 arches of 96 feet span, rising from pier's, the height of the parapet from the water is 106 feet, length of the bridge 452 and the breadth between the parapets 39 feet. |
