A Small railway station on the Edinburgh Perth and Dundee (Leith and Newhaven scored out) Railway at the end of Scotland Street An act for making this railway was obtained in 1836. In 1843 it was opened from Trinity to this Station an extension of it was then made from this Station to the E. end of Princes where there is another Station. This extension is by a tunnel. There is another small tunnel near this Station at the north side. Near Warriston Crescent a short distance north of this Station the railway divides into two branches. one goes to Leith the other to Trinity and Granton.
