[Situation] South of the Wet Dock. A straight, well built street, extending in a westerly direction from the Custom House to Portland Place. On the north side and fronting the docks, is a range of substantially built warehouses. On the South side, is the Mariners Church, the Citadel, the Railway Station, and several boat building yards, and Marine Stores. It is well paved, Macadamised, and clean. |
