A commodious building in the Elizabethan style and of recent erection. It was built and endowed by Sir John Gladstone of Fasgue, a native of Leith, as an Asylum for the accomodation of incurables. The Sum of £300 is allowed Annually for the Support of 10 patients who are Supplied with all the Comforts their helpless Situations require.
