[Situation] About 24 chs [chains] East from North Leith Church. A burying ground situated on the South Side of Coburg Street. It was formed to supply the Place of the burying ground of St Nicholas, which was removed at the formation of the Citadel by Cromwell. It is in a neglected state, being overrun with weeds, and many of the tombstones are broken, and the inscriptions obliterated. |
