[Situation] Passing into the Firth of Forth a few chains S. [South] from Lufra Cottage.
A small stream which rising in the Corstorphine Hill, flows in a northerly direction through the village of Davidsons Mains, thence through the Estate of Barnton, and finally through the lands of His Grace the Duke of Buccleuch when it falls into the Firth of Forth, a little eastward of Granton Pier. It forms portion of the boundary between the parishes of St Cuthberts and Cramond.
