It is the property of Mrs Watson, the Ground on which it is built is the site of an old Castle, apart [a part] of this last forms a part of north East Corner of the present mansion and another part of the old Castle or rather a dove Cot that belonged to it forms a part of the South West Corner of the present mansion also this last part is supposed to [be] upwards of 500 years old.
