There are sittings for 200 persons There is no resident minister - but one is sent from the College at Edinburgh to officiate on the Sundays etc This Church was erected in 1849 - partly by subscription & partly by the building fund.

012 A neat substantial building built of stone & slated (one story [storey] high) It was built by subscription and is under the management of a local committee. The schoolmaster is paid by the fees of the scholars who average between 80 & 90 - three fourths of whom are boys - Mr John Park is the present master.
