012 | The remains of an ancient Camp on the Farm of Castlelaw a short distance north of the farm house. It s of an oval form and the fosse and ramparts are quite distinct especially at the north end where the moat is very entire. It is supposed from its form to be of either Danish or Pictish origin. The ministers of the parishes close by repudiate the idea fits being Roman, as inserted on County Map. |
