WATER HOUSE [Bavelaw Mill] Water House
Water House		 William Hardy.
J. Thomson.		 011 1 mile and ½west north west from the summit of Hare Hill.
A circular stone building about 15 feet in diameter with a spiral roof. It encloses a tank or cistern belonging to the Edinburgh Water Company. Pipes lead from it in a subteraneous passage to the City. It is on the farm of Bavelaw Mill.
