It in its course is the motive power for Some circular Saw Mills and for a Short distance on the Farm of Broadshaw forms the Parish Boundary between Mid & West Calder It obtains Several names from the farms and Estates it passes through but from extensive enquiry I recommend Bog Burn as the best general name can be adopted
