MONUMENT [Harburn] Monument 010 A Small Monument in the Pleasure Grounds of Harburn consisting of a Square Stone at the Base of which is placed a cylindrical pedestal about 12 [feet ?] High and 1/4 inches in diameter the whole is Surmounted by a Stone Globe of the diameter of the pedestal On the upper surface of the Basement Stone and nearly level with the Surface is the following inscription in Roman Letters "Ch [Charles ?] Xth [Tenth] of France Stood on this Spot when he he was last at Harburn 3rd Sept [September] 1832" The monument was erected by Mr Young the proprietor at that time of the Estate
